Gyan Setu Think Tank in collaboration with CSE department, UIET, Panjab University, Chandigarh hosted a special lecture on Cyber Security and Artificial intelligence on April 12, 2024. The event was held at Seminar Hall, Admin Block I, UIET, South Campus, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The keynote speaker was Brig. Kanwal Rajiv Anand. DSP Prabhjot Kaur, Cyber Crime Prevention Cell, Punjab Police along with her team also made a presentation on cyber crime prevention. Brig. Anand presented a comprehensive introduction to Artificial Intelligence which included fundamental concepts of Machine learning, Deep learning and Cyber Security in the age of Artificial Intelligence. DSP Prabhjot Kaur made the audience aware of common Cyber Crime Frauds and discussed the case studies. The do’s and don’ts to safeguard from Cyber Crime Frauds was also discussed.
Prof. Sanjeev Puri, director UIET, Panjab University, Lt. Gen. K. J. Singh (retd.) Convener Gyan Setu Think Tank, Prof. Sarabjeet Singh, coordinator CSE, UIET, Prof. Harish Kumar from UIET were present at the even as special guests. The even was attended by the students, research scholars, faculty of UIET as well as veterans from the tricity area.
