A SeminarĀ  “Emerging Dynamics of Indo-Pak Relations” was organized by Gyan Setu Think Tank in collaboration with Department of Defence and National Security Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh on March 18, 2019. The one day seminar was held at Rajiv Gandhi College Bhawan, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

S. Manpreet Singh Badal, honorable Minister, Finance and Planning, government of Punjab was the chief guest at the event. Mr. R. K. Kaushik, Commissioner, Ropar Division delivered the key note address at the seminar followed by presidential remarks by Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor of Punjab University.

The seminar included two technical sessions in which several eminent security experts and academicians put forward their analysis of Indo-Pak relations in context of current geo-political scenario.

Session I – Geopolitical and Strategic Realities

  • Lt. Gen. (retd) J. S. Cheema Former deputy Chief of Army Staff and GOC XI Corps
  • Air Marshal (retd) J. S. Chauhan, Foremer AOC in C, Central Command

Intense deliberations were held on the subject of emerging dynamics between India and Pakistan. Students, Research Scholars, Faculty along with veteran defence officers attended the seminar.
