Gyan Setu Think Tank in collaboration with Gyan Chakra, United Service Institution of India Think Tanks and Department of Defence and National Security Studies, Panjab University organized a panel discussion on three volume book “India-Tibet Relations from 1947-62” written by Mr. Claude Arpi.
Lt. Gen. PC Thimaya GOC-in-C Army Training Command Shimla was the chief guest of the event. Lt. Gen. P M Bali, Chief of Staff, Western Command, Chandimandir was guest of honor. Other distinguished speakers in the panel included – Lt. Gen. K. J. Singh former GOC-in-C Western Command, Mr. Claude Arpi, author, journalist and historian, Maj. Gen. P J S Sandhu, Director Gyan Chakra, Maj Gen. Pk Goswami, Dy. Director USI
The event was held at Golden Jubilee Hall, Panjab University, Chandigarh and attended by the students, research scholars and faculty of various departments of University along with serving and retired defence officers.
