In a significant initiative aimed at strengthening academic research, digital learning, and intellectual engagement, Gyan Setu Think Tank (GSTT) inaugurated the Gyan Setu Information Centre-cum-Hybrid Library (GSIC) at Post Graduate Government College Sector 11 on May 10, 2026.
The facility was inaugurated by Manish Tewari, marking an important milestone in GSTT’s ongoing efforts to create knowledge-driven platforms that bridge academia, policy discourse, research, and community engagement.
The newly established GSIC has been envisioned as a modern academic and intellectual hub that integrates traditional library resources with contemporary digital infrastructure. The facility has research work stations, a small pod cast studio, counselling section and conference area. Designed as a hybrid learning space, the centre combines physical and digital knowledge resources, collaborative discussion areas, seminar facilities, and research support systems to create a dynamic environment for students, faculty members, researchers, veterans, and scholars.
The establishment of the centre represents a collaborative effort between Gyan Setu Think Tank and PGGC Sector 11. The initiative has been developed with the objective of creating a sustainable intellectual ecosystem that supports research-oriented engagement and promotes meaningful interaction between academia and society.
For Gyan Setu Think Tank, the launch of GSIC represents another step in its broader mission of promoting education, research, strategic awareness, policy dialogue, and community development. Over the past few years, GSTT has organized seminars, conferences, discussions, outreach programmes, and collaborative academic initiatives focused on national security, international relations, public policy, cybersecurity, and social development. The Information Centre-cum-Hybrid Library is expected to serve as a permanent institutional platform supporting these objectives while providing students and researchers with valuable learning resources.
