Gyan Setu think Tank organized a special event to commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 24, 2019. A panel discussion was held on the occasion. The panelists included:
- Capt. Abhimanyu Singh Sindhu, Minister of Finance, Government of Haryana
- Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor of Panjab University, Chandigarh
- Lt. Gen. P. M. Bali, Chief of Staff, Western Command, Chandimandir
- Lt. Gen. (retd) K. J. Singh, former commander of Western Command, Chandimandir
- Mr. Vishal Batra, brother of PVC Captain Vikram Batra
The event was attended by students, research scholars and faculty of Punjab University along with several serving and retired Defence officers. The event was held at ICSSR North Regional Centre, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
