A panel discussion was organized by Gyan Setu Think Tank in association with Department of Defence and National Security Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh on November 24, 2023 at Gandhi Bhavan, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Esteemed panelists in the discussion were Prof. Karori Singh, Lt. Gen. Iqbal Singh Singha (retd.), Mr. Mandeep Singh Bajwa and Lt. Gen. K. J. Singh (retd.). Dr. Jaskaran Singh Waraich, the chairperson of Department of Defence and National Security Studies, Panjab University was also present on the occasion.
The panel discussed the current security situation of middle east in context with Israel Palestine conflict currently underway in the region. Different perspectives and the effect of conflict in the region and the world in general were discussed and deliberated upon.
Students, serving officers from the Indian Armed forces, Veterans, research scholars and faculty attended the event.
